Andy Rubin Confirms Stay With Google, 900,000 Daily Activations
By Jerry Carrion

While WWDC is on the verge of kicking off this morning, it seems over the weekend that Google's senior mobile VP Andy Rubin wasn’t hesitant to show his lack of disdain. In fact he was a bit boastful in letting out a bit of news. It’d been two months since we’d last heard Google confirming up to 850,000 daily activations a day. Two months later down the road and the number has jumped another 50,000 to make 900,000 activations daily. While the growth has plateaued since 2011’s booming numbers, this still shows that there won’t be any stagnant decrease into Android’s market share anytime soon. During this time Andy also debunked a rumor that he would possibly be leaving Google. He says that there are “no plans” for that. Maybe this will go to show how quick Google is to respond back at everything WWDC has to offer later today.
