AT&T planning on spending $14 Billion throughout 2016
By Jerry Carrion

AT&T has announced that it will be making some serious power moves within the next three years to better boost the network’s infrastructure. Within the next three years AT&T plans on spending over $14 billion. Project VIP or Velocity IP is AT&T’s mission to boost the 4G LTE network to over 300 million users by the end of 2014. It’s also helping to expand wired IP broadband to 75 percent of customer locations by the end of 2015. The telecom company is also planning on bringing both Fiber and U-verse to millions of business locations across the country. It’s currently predicting that 99 percent of customers will be using data through terrestrial IP or 4G LTE by the end of 2016. It also claimed that $8 billion would be spent on wireless projects with an additional &6 on helping beef up wired broadband. It seems AT&T seems to be doing something profitable with all those profits they’ve seemed to rake in!
