It now seems like HTC is fighting back in court against Apple's claims by counter-suing the company. Yesterday the Taiwanese company HTC had announces that it had filed a complaint under the International Trade Commission asking to stop Apple from selling iPods, iPads, and iPhones in the United States. This comes a few months after Apple had made it's initial claims. In March, Apple had filed lawsuits against HTC with the ITC stating that HTC had infringed upon quite a substantial number of Apple's patents, most of these involved on-screen gestures and multi-touch, as well as design. Apple is also in the process of suing Nokia, who has sued Apple twice in the past. Experts claim that Apple's original lawsuits against HTC may stem down to indirectly attacking Google and the Android OS. [lanewsmonitor]
