Google Wallet is an app that makes your phone your wallet. Tap, pay, and save with virtual cards and offers on your phone.' And it seems that it is a significant step forward towards NFC adoption. However, the said service was expected to work only on devices running Android devices, and we don't know if this will be made available on as many handsets on the market. Anyway.. at the Cannes Lions ad festival this Wednesday, Google ex-CEO Eric Schmidt confirmed that if the next iPhone has an NFC chip inside of it, the search 'Google' will do its best to make the service usable on iOS devices. Hopefully it will, considering the fact that there are lots of iOS users Worldwide. W have heard rumors claiming that the next iPhone will get NFC, as well as such that state exactly the opposite. Whether or not Near-field communications are coming to iPhone, it is still anybody's guess. Since these are just rumors, we really can't say that it's true for as we all know that it is just as inconsistent as to the eventual iPhone 5 release date.
