iPhone 5 Is not On the Production Line Yet
By Jerry Carrion

I know that you want to meet the new iPhone 5 as soon as possible but that won’t happen sooner than October, 2012. First of all, iPhone 5 will have to pass “engineering verification tests” (EVT). After that – it will be tortured with the “design verification test” (DVT) and only after both challenges the new iPhone will be ready for mass production. In other words – Apple’s new creation is still not on the production line. Of course, it doesn’t mean that we won’t see it on time. For example, the Verizon-branded iPhone 4 made it to the EVT2 phase in mid-November, hit EVT3 in the last week of November, and finally got to DVT2 at the end of December. There is also a great possibility that we are going to see the new iPhone 5 equipped with LTE connectivity and 1GB of RAM memory and NFC technology. That is definitely something to look forward.
