Maybe, MetroPCS is not the most popular mobile carrier in the USA but it definitely has some serious potential to become one. According to the latest Q2 income report, MetroPCS sees $1.3 billion revenue for the quarter with $149 million of profit. One of the most interesting things in MetroPCS line happens to be its LTE network that brought about 700,000 subscribers by the end of Q2. And the best part – MetroPCS will continue moving in that direction spreading its LTE nationwide. Let’s hear them out:
“Importantly, we should have a full 10MHz dedicated to 4G LTE in most major metropolitan areas by the end of the year. Our 4G LTE handset ecosystem is building and we remain on track to launch 4G LTE For All by the end of the third quarter. During the fourth quarter, we expect our 4G LTE for All initiative to lead to a return to subscriber growth.”
