No BBC App for WP

I know that probably BBC application is not the most popular here, in the US, but if your job is directly connected with the United Kingdom – this app is a must on your smart-phone. For quite some time already we’ve been told that BBC official application will be released for Windows Phone platform as soon as possible. Well, it looks like this is not going to happen and here’s the reason why: "BBC iPlayer is already on over 500 platforms and devices including Virgin Media, BT Vision, FreeSat, Freeview, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Wii, and hundreds of mobile phones, tablets and Internet-connected TVs. We are always looking at new and existing platforms to bring BBC iPlayer to, but have no plans to launch a BBC iPlayer native app in Windows Phone Marketplace in the immediate future.” It kind of hurts to hear that cause it looks like Windows Phone is not good enough for BBC which sounds kind of ridiculous but happens to be so.
