Pros: It is the best phone to use for multimedia apps, 8 Mp Camera, a stylus to improve interaction 1.5 GHz processor and a glorious build that is nothing less than the most premium set would have. It certainly belongs to the elite class of smart phones.
Cons: It is the best phone to use for multimedia apps, 8 Mp Camera, a stylus to improve interaction 1.5 GHz processor and a glorious build that is nothing less than the most premium set would have. It certainly belongs to the elite class of smart phones.
The stylus is one additional feature which is remarkable in its functions and looks. This wonder stick helps you to write on screen, take screenshots and responds to pen pressure. If you have fun interacting with screen then you would certainly love to use a stylus. Such a big screen of 5.3 inches is ideal for taking photos, making videos and enjoying the experience to watch it. It is however so big that it does not fit in to pockets nor is easy to operate with one hand. This is bothersome for those with even medium sized hands. This phone somewhat gives the impression of a giant and place it against the other phones, it will outshine them by its magnificent built and super stylish body. Look at this 5.8 inch beauty, with 3.3 inch width and 0.37 inch thickness. It comes in carbon blue or ceramic white. The review is of blue one. Its outstanding screen size is so incredible that you will not believe your eyes till you set your eyes on it. The look just cannot be imagined. It gets attention anywhere it goes. It is great for not only making videos but for making video calls. The phone’s target customer is already a bit uneasy with its size. It is little too big for it to be elegant. Its good looks are somehow diminished when one takes a glance at its humongous size. But then talk about its other things and you will be mesmerized. One thing is for sure. It has captured the audience globally. It’s the latest buzz all around. Let us take a look at its design. It has a spacious virtual keyboard thanks to the screen size. It is good for the eyes, 720p HD super AMOLED display. Just like its cousins, it is made from plastic but what a look have they given. The smooth body, rounded shoulders, classy look and high quality make sure that it looks exactly how a premium set should look. But the best part is the 5.3 inch HD Super AMOLED screen with its 1,280x800-pixel resolution (WXGA). Thanks to AMOLED. Colors appear vivid, saturated and life like. Photos are outstanding. Videos run in a smooth manner. A 2 Mp camera sits at the front takes self portraits and used for making video calls. Just below the screen are four touch buttons for Home, Menu, Search and Back. Volume rocker sits on the left spine while power on the right. At the bottom is given a micro USB port and a slot for keeping the stylus. Headphone jack is given at the top end. The 8 Mp camera comes with LED flash. It uses Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is expected that AT&T might update Note to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. You have TouchWiz with its usual features of pinching the screen to shorten it and swiping horizontally to move over screens. There are so many ways to take screen shots; by swiping the edge of your hand left and right, using the power/Home button or with the stylus. The stylus is 4.1 inch tall 0.2 inch thick and has a multi-function button on the side. Its body is slightly rounded and it weighs only 0.1 ounce. For 59.9$ you could buy a S Pen holder kit that comes along with an additional Pen. Tap twice on the screen and jot down whatever you want. The pen responds to amazing 128 levels of pressure. 20 more memo apps are ready to work with S Pen at launch. Its 4G LTE radio is one more remarkably outstanding feature. It also has WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. You will find Google Maps, Places, turn-by-turn voice directions, Gmail, Search, Google Music, and YouTube. Its call quality is quite good. Tests indicate no call drops, noise or voice garbling. It has super fast speeds of 24Mbps down and .8Mbps up. This gem scored a 2703 on Quadrant, which tests everything with a focus on graphics. Its battery life exceeded all expectations. It is amazing beyond imagination. The massive HD Super AMOLED display and 4G LTE radio might suggest that it cannot make very long. Well hello. You could carry it along all day and still it would do. Of course it also depends upon your usage. But then we tested its battery life. Its extensively used battery time is 6 h where you use browser, games and music player almost all of the time. This giant would surely make its mark in the Android market. With its amazing features, biggest ever on screen display and fully loaded apps, who would not want to buy it. This surely is one powerhouse on its own. This is one phone anybody would want to own but not everybody could do justice to it. This is a classic number from Samsung and you know what they say about classics: these are the best things understood by just a few.
