It's not just the launch of the Galaxy S III that Samsung is happy about this week. Earlier today the company announced that with the combination of the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S II they have sold over 50 million units of the both of them together. The Galaxy S had a total of 24 million sales to date, and the Galaxy S II has sold over 28 million in the last 13 months since its release. Samsung has also announced that the Galaxy Note has reached 7 million sold since its launch 7 months ago, an increase of 2 million since the last time Samsung updated their sales on the Galaxy Note. These are pretty monumental figures, and if the Galaxy S III is anything like what the rumors said about it, than you can expect its sales will be better than the previous installments in the Galaxy S family.
