SketchBook Express is a paid Android device that is made for artists on the go! It is a fun and intuitive drawing app that is optimized for Honeycomb tablet devices, according to its developers. It features powerful artist tools, a wide range of options in brush types, effects, and is said to be a great way to try Autodesk Sketchbook apps offer for free. I am not an artist but I must say that the app is great as it has a wide range of brush types and effects for sketching and drawing on the tablet. It’s as if that the app is designed to give users a sample of tools and power it can bring to the table. I really like the pop-up menu of brush options that can be pulled up right in the work space. It’s a rotating wheel, making it very easy to quickly switch between different brushes to very easily get different looks and feels. I also like the very intuitive color palette which allowed me to really fine-tune the exact color that I was looking for, as well as letting me choose the brushes and giving me a preview of exactly what it will look like. The app works the same way as with the full, Pro version of the app, even though the options in Express are a bit more limited at least you can get a good feel for it. It is a very useful app and i love the spray brush effect, though I absolutely love this app. I love the spray brush effect though it crashes once in a while, right in the middle of a drawing. Well, at least it saves it. Very cool!
