Sprint's Overdrive 3G / 4G mobile hotspot is official

Regarding cell phone news today, Sprint made it official, the Overdrive 3G and 4G mobile hotspot is a go and was shown at the CES. This device is a Sierra Wireless built box that connects to Sprint's WiMAX network, and has the potential of sharing the connection with up to five different devices over WiFi. The device has the ability to switch to EVDO in the case of the 4G connection dropping which makes for uninterrupted connection. The Overdrive hotspot comes in at a $99 dollar price point after a $50 rebate, and has a monthly service price of $59.
