Way back in May, Verizon made an announcement saying that it is going to launch family data 'mega-plans' that in future would let family plan users share data the same way the current plans does. It seems that those mega-plans will probably be upon us in the near future, as there are some rumors floating around, saying that an 'extremely solid source' ensures that Verizon is going to introduce the family data plans in the middle of this month. The source also says that employee training on the plans is now underway and that the carrier plans to make all of its workers familiar with the new offerings. In accordance with the source, customers with smartphones will have a choice between 5GB and 10GB plans. At the same time, those of you who want mobile hotspot or USB data card access can choose from 7GB or 12GB plans. We will surely keep you updated as more info comes to light.
