The Hubble team over at NASA has announced something that has been wondered about for some time now. Our galaxy, The Milky Way, will inevitably collide with the Andromeda galaxy, making the "Milkomeda" galaxy. But don't worry about aliens from some far away galaxy taking over earth, because the collision of the two galaxies isn't supposed to happen for about 4 billion years, and then it will stay that way for another 2 billion years. Scientists figure that earth will not be harmed thanks to the sheer amount of empty space between stars, but the sun could be knocked out entirely by another star, think about how crazy that is, we might lose the entire sun, but thankfully that incident won't be for billions and billions of years, so nothing to worry about.
