World’s Lowest-Cost Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Tablet
By Jerry Carrion

While Low-cost chip designer MIPS states that they are going to release "World’s Lowest-Cost Android 4.1 ‘Jelly Bean’ Tablet", I can say with a firm that this is not true. If I am not mistaken, there were successful attempts to create tablets with even better price tag and I am pretty sure they were successful. But there is a moment of truth in their words – this is the World’s Lowest-Cost Android 4.1 ‘Jelly Bean’ Tablet (stress on Jelly Bean). If everything goes well, it will be offered for as much as $125 and as for the specs you will find it equipped with a 7-inch capacitive touch-screen, a 1.2 GHz Ingenic JZ4770 processor, a 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB of storage expandable to 32GB, 3700 mAh battery, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Karbonn Smart Tab 1 (that’s his name) is aimed to become a part of Indian mobile market but we can also expect it to spread all over the world a bit later after the official launch.
